She & He | They

March 4, 2013 — 6 Comments

I saw the cutest post the other day on Betsy Transatlantically on the little differences between Betsy and her significant other, and I just felt compelled to do my own version! I love my husband with all my heart, and even though we differ in the little things, she + he have become they in surprising ways over the eight months of wedded bliss we’ve had, and the almost two years prior that we were together. Here’s a look at the differences between us and how they have combined together into us.

she and he-8399

she’s a morning person & he’s a night owl | they drink coffee all day

she wants her food light & he wants extra sauce | she gets hers on the side to give to him

she listens to indie & he listens to rock | they love Grace Potter and Lindsey Sterling

she plans & he surprises | they allow times for both

she reads noir & he reads sci-fi | they read the Dresden Files

she loves dogs & he loves cats | her cat plays fetch

she travels & he likes home | they travel to family and with family

she adventures & he’s a homebody | she learned to use power tools and he learned to jetski

she loves him & he loves her | they can make anything work

  1. oh YAY and I love how you made it into they :)

    • Thanks, Betsy :) As I was making this list, I noticed that our differences weren’t quite so separated as they were when we first started dating. I think little by little, we just find and explore that common ground and it makes for a better us.

  2. i loved this! but more importantly, your cat plays fetch?! THAT IS AMAZING!

i also might steal your mugs. just sayin’ ;)
